License the BIA Edge immigration-law database

Licensing

The immigration-law database your product is missing.

If you’re building legal AI, practice-management software, or research tools that touch immigration law, BIA Edge can license the database behind the public site: cleaned legal materials, citation links, ImmCite status data, and source-specific refreshes.

What’s in the database

  • Large collections of unpublished BIA and AAO decisions — cleaned, deduplicated, searchable, and, where review is complete, tagged for outcome and favorability.
  • The published record — BIA and Attorney General precedent, circuit and Supreme Court immigration decisions, curated district court families, BALCA, and OCAHO.
  • Statutes and regulations — the INA, relevant U.S. Code and CFR provisions, statutory notes, and selected state and federal criminal-code text from official sources.
  • Agency guidance — USCIS Policy Manual, policy memos, the FAM, practice manuals, country-conditions reporting, and visa bulletin history.

The research layer

The documents matter, but so do the links between them. Licensed access can include:

  • ImmCite — good-law status and later treatment for precedential authorities, maintained against current official directives.
  • Holdings and headnotes — structured research summaries linked to the underlying records, with current coverage available during evaluation.
  • Citation graph — cross-references linking cases, statutes, and regulations in both directions.
  • Pinpoint passages — exact passages from source documents that a product can quote and link back to.
  • Doctrine relationships — reviewed relationships among precedents: limiting authority, related holdings, and doctrine families.
